The movie “Won’t Back Down” with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis is a very emotional movie. Gyllenhaal is unsatisfied with the education her daughter is getting, but can’t afford to put her in a charter school, so she teams up with Davis(who is a teacher at Maggie’s daughters school) to create their own school. By the use of mostly pathos they get other parents and teachers on their side. Despite their setbacks and others actions they manage to create a lionized argument to win over the school board. I give this movie a 3/5 stars, though it can bring a tear to your eye and motivate you to change schools’ education; it also reminds us that one person can make a huge difference for many.
